Brett has extensive experience in both CA and Commercial environments. Having had his own practice in both Waikato and Auckland as well as held numerous positions within commercial organisations, he has gained extensive practical experience in a wide variety of businesses.
Not only that, but he has been on the ‘other side of the fence’ whilst owning a commercial operation and so empathises with the issues facing business owners.
His desire is to utilise these knowledge and skills as a business partner with his clients to challenge them to achieve their goals through a structured and well considered approach.
Financial information is a conduit for good management decisions and Brett believes that utilising ones accountant not only to calculate profits and tax is only part of the equation. Your professional should be there as your on tap business partner to achieve success.
Outside Interests
Brett has always enjoyed playing sport & has been fortunate enough to travel the globe with his rugby career. He has been treasurer of the Northcote Rugby Club for nearly a decade and coached numerous Cote teams including the championship winning U21 and Premiers teams. He also served as an independent director of the North Harbour Rugby Union where he chaired the finance committee. Currently he enjoys working with NZRFU in the capacity of TID for 7s, Secondary Schools and U20 level.
Other interests include playing golf and enjoying time on the water on the family launch.
